  • Approved signatory as microbiologist to have a reliable result in experiment

  • Carry out quality control procedures as stated in the Test Methods or in division’s Standard Operating Procedure.

  • Interpret data, calculate results and validate test results to ensure accuracy prior reporting.

  • Document non-conformance results and submit the necessary documents to Laboratory Manager.

  • Carry out routine maintenance and calibration of instruments and maintain documentation.

  • Re-validate methods under the directive of Laboratory Manager in accordance to SOP.

  • Validate new methods under the directive of Laboratory Manager.

  • Perform other duties such as calibration of freezers, ovens, refrigerators, pipettes, balances, waste disposal, laminar flow cleanup, etc.
